CTC Wireless Engineering Analysis Capabilities

CTC Media Group stands ready to support government clients by providing the following on-call wireless telecommunications planning and commercial wireless application evaluation services:

  • Review the technical application submission by the applicant within the framework of a local government’s zoning and other code requirements.
  • Examine applications with regard to all FCC technical standards, including RF exposure guidelines.
  • Request, when necessary additional supporting information as needed to clarify/complete initial submissions.
  • Independently evaluate, through computer-based radio propagation modeling, the predicted wireless coverage data submitted by an applicant in support of the wireless carrier’s claimed need for the facilities to meet its stated service coverage objectives.
  • Perform independent on-site measurements where required and as requested.
  • Examine whether there are viable, alternative, less-intrusive siting options to the facilities and/or locations proposed by the applicant– including the use of existing support structures, based on the supporting engineering documentation provided by the applicant.
  • Prepare project reports of our findings, conclusions, and recommendations as requested.
  • Have qualified staff available to participate (onsite or remote) in briefings to municipal decision-makers at staff or public meetings.
